The Lady in the Tower, the newest book by Alison Weir, is out in book stores today! I love Alison Weir, but only her novels. She’s only written two of them, I believe- The Innocent Traitor and The Lady Elizabeth. But obviously this new book is about Anne Boleyn, and sadly, it is not a novel. ...

Tudor Games

At the Mary Rose museum, you can play the games that were probably once played on the Mary Rose. I saw this article about it. Then I saw this website and it’s filled with games and fun tidbits for kids about the Tudors- but it’s still fun for adults! :-0

The Tudors The Tudor reign began with the succession of Henry Tudor (Henry VII) in 1485, after he defeated Richard III in the War of Roses, uniting the Houses of York and Lancaster. The Tudor Rose is shown as a symbol of the two united houses, since the House of York was associated with a white rose, and the House of Lancaster a red rose. From this, it began a dynasty of powerful monarchs that would rule for 118 years until the death of Elizabeth I in 1603.
